Hey thinking about buying one. Any good? Does it tae good videos? How are the movies (that you can put on it) and pictures? Is it worth it? Should I buy it for my 16 year old friend’s daughter? (She loves computers and cameras and she wants an ipod….so this is the next best thing.)

YOu need some light inside (outside there is no problem)
There IS a compatbility problem. It uses MPEG4 which is currently hard to work with.
Also the playback tends to show the battery level and recording time factors.
But it’s economical to buy. Priced between $100 and $150 right.
Cheapest camcorder, which will provide MUCH better videos, is $270.
The Aiptek is basically a toy, but a high quality toy. Still it’s “Mattel”
It’s a Barbie 110 camera.
YOu won’t get much better quality, however, without going over $200 and if you’re goiong to go $200 go the extra $50 or $70 and get a really good one!
