How much would it be to fix this iPod Nano at the Apple Store?

I own an Apple iPod Nano (2nd Gen, Silver, 2 GB) It was on the charger as usual and one day, it just heated up to an extreme temperature and would not turn back on. I was playing with it a bit, and managed to get a screen with a sad faced iPod, and a triangle with an exclamation mark. Apparently, it is a corrupted iPod and cannot even be restored on a computer. I researched how to fix it, nothing has worked. If I take it to the Apple Store, the Genius Bar will be able to fix it. But, I don’t know how much the additional charges are for repair. I don’t want to waste time going there and finding out the price to fix it is the same as buying a new one. How much do you think they would charge to fix this iPod Nano?

Can you replace the original iPhone with the same phone?

Last night, I knocked my iPhone off a table and now the bottom portion of the screen where the tray icons are isn’t working. I can still unlock it but as I can’t use any of these icons I can’t place a call, I can’t text, I can’t use the internet and I can’t listen to my iPod unless I double click the home button. I am going to call the apple store in my town tomorrow morning to see if I could get it repaired but if they can’t repair it and have to replace it, I was wondering if I could replace it with another 1st generation iPhone if necessary. Any help at all would be appreciated.

I dropped my ipod touch on cement and now the screen has a half in line from top to bottom on the left side?

the screen also looks way lighter, I have had my ipod for more than the 90 day warranty and I cant return it, when I went on the apple website and I only found that it says they will fix it within the 90 days, I thought they would have a section where you could send it to be fixed and then you could pay them to fix it and pay shipping, but I couldnt find anywhere where it saud that, I would hate to have to pay another $500 for an ipod plus $400 in songs..does anyone know where I can get it fixed or anyplace that specializes in apple repairs? I couldnt find any around where I live in Michigan.

Bought unlocked iphone on Ebay 6 mths ago, last 3 rows on main screen not working. Can I return it to AT&T?

I Bought an unlocked iphone on ebay 6mths ago. It worked perfect until the last 3 rows on the main screen (Including Phone, Mail, Safari & Ipod) stopped working. It didn’t fall or anything it just stopped working. Can I return it? The sim card has not been activated but the phone is not registered under my name, neither do I have the sales receipt. Can I take it to AT&T to get it repaired/replaced? I know how to restore it to factory settings so they won’t know that it has been unlocked.
Or can I return it to an Aplle store? Where can I find and Apple store in Ft. Lauderdale?

dropped iphone/repair/please help!

Okay, so I dropped my iPhone a few months ago and it cracked the screen in the upper left hand corner; still, no technical damaged occured to the phone and it continued to work properly.

However, three days ago my phone dropped and fell face down on the tile floor. There was no physical damage apart from the crack that it already had, but part of touch sensor no longer works. The bottom of the touch screen doesn’t respond to touch anymore.

This is a problem because the only way I can unlock my phone is to turn it off and then on. And, even after doing that I can’t make calls, text, or use the iPod and Safari features because those are the four icons I have on the bottom.

Is there anyway Apple will repair it or fix it for free. I am still under warranty [for 13 more days] but when I called 1800MYIPHONE the guy basically said I’d have to buy a new one because they wouldn’t replace it if there is physical damage on the phone.

Will I have better luck if I go to an actual Apple store/genius bar and talk to them? Are there any other options? Maybe a way to fix it myself [doubtful]? Please give me any advice you have. I am in agony over this!!

see the thing is i only have a limited amount of money to spend and i really need to know in case its time to start saving.:-)
i also forgot to add that it doesn’t come from an apple store. oh deary me!
